We developed a new name for a successful business unit of thyssenkrupp AG, which is entering the green hydrogen energy market with a pioneering transformation. The aim is to position the company on a purpose-based basis as one of the few players that already has the capability to produce green hydrogen on an industrial scale.
The name thyssenkrupp nucera tells a powerful story, marking the beginning of a new era in the energy sector, while honoring its roots as Uhde Chlorine Engineers. Developing a visual language that visualizes the spirit of awakening, thinking differently and the connection between the environment and technology. The corporate design with applications in print, web, AV, SoMe and in space were developed. The communication campaign links all these elements in a storytelling that is as emotional as it is challenging and manages to successfully position the new company in a very short time.

The booth concept was crafted with creativity and innovation, featuring custom-designed modules such as a dedicated talk counter, inviting thought-leaders discussions with industry leaders.
A 3D hologram showed the most important facts about the construction, while VR Glasses offer visitors the opportunity to virtually enter and experience the ecosystem and the installation itself. Each of these elements was designed with sustainability in mind, ensuring they can be reused for future events.
But beyond the grand structures of the booth, we infused passion into the smallest details, capturing the attention of every visitor. One standout example is the HydroGIN idea, which evolved from a strategic concept to a delightful gesture and finally to a trademark, completed with a Hydrogin bar. This bar became a hub of conversation, drawing people together and sparking dynamic discussions throughout the event. And the Hydrogin became more than just a fancy drink.

After two years of successful collaboration, a major milestone was reached: the listing on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The protagonists were in the hallowed halls of the exchange, while employees at the head office in Dortmund joined in the excitement. The connection between both locations: a live stream from the Frankfurt trading floor. The internal hosting duo guided employees through the event, enhanced by interactive elements and impressive video contributions from the past two years. In Dortmund, a fantastic public viewing atmosphere prevailed on the rooftop terrace, with perfect weather adding to the celebration – and it was tremendously successful. We are very proud to support Thyssenkrupp Nucera and the energy transformation toward green hydrogen.
